Group Booking Enquiry - Online Form

Group bookings of 15 people or more get 10% discount on admission!
Schools should not use this form and instead use the school booking enquiry form via the 'Learn' section above.

How to book

  2. Wait for your booking confirmation to come through. Your booking is not confirmed until you hear back from us. It may take a few working days to review and respond.

March – October

The Ulster American Folk Park is open Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 5pm

We strongly recommend pre-booking your group visit. 

Entry to our museum is subject to availability. Pre-booking will secure your admission and enable us to provide additional important information for your visit.

It may take a few working days to review and respond. Bookings are not confirmed until the availability is checked and a booking confirmation is received in writing.

Subject to availability, we offer guided tours of the museum with a visitor guide. The price of this will depend on the size of the group. 

We have a number of exhibits with costumed interpreters each day who look forward to welcoming your group to the museum. Demonstrations such as blacksmithing, printing and spinning also takes place on most days. 

There is no time limit for your visit, but we recommend allowing 2 - 3 hours to explore everything the museum has to offer.

  • Your 10% discount will be applied.

There isn’t a maximum capacity but the booking of larger groups will be dependent on our availability.

  • Adult: £12.50
  • Child: £7.65
  • Senior: £9.75
  • Student: £9.75 

A 10% group booking discount will be applied to the prices above. Payment must be processed as one transaction to avail of the discount.

Please note the following ticket types are free of charge:

  • Child under 5 
  • Accessibility (please see information under 'Booking and Arrival' FAQs here)
  • Carer (when accompanying an individual with access needs) 

On event days, there can be variations in cost. We will inform you of this when we receive your form and review your enquiry.

No, all visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. In a group scenario, adult-to-child supervision ratios apply. Please contact the museum for details. 

Groups should arrive at the reception area in the Visitor Centre where your group can be welcomed, numbers confirmed and payment processed.

Catering

Makers café is open during museum hours offering a selection of hot and cold food and refreshments. Please note that hot and cold food options finish earlier in the day, with refreshments and sweet treats available until close.  

Pre-booking for groups in advance with the café is advised, as reserved seating cannot be guaranteed. 

You can bring a picnic to enjoy at one of our outdoor picnic benches. Barbeques are not permitted.

Facilities and accessibility information

Parking is free and available for all visitors. Please avail of the dedicated coach drop-off point outside of the Visitor Centre and dedicated coach parking bays located in the main car park.

There are also two e-charging points for electric vehicles (EV) on-site. 

Overflow parking is available in our lower car park.

For those with accessibility needs, the majority of our exhibits and buildings are fully accessible, however, there is a small number which are not accessible due to the historic nature of the site. Please speak to a member of staff upon arrival for more information, so you can still get the most out of your visit.

We don't have facilities for bag storage. 

Please note that it is a large site with a considerable amount of walking between the different exhibits in the outdoor part of the museum. Seating is available throughout the site. 

Adjustments to bookings should be received no later than 48 hours prior to your booking commencement.

Please note, we operate a no-refund policy.

Dogs are not allowed on site with any visitors due to the historic nature of the museum. The only exception is assistance dogs.

Assistance dogs are dogs that are trained and required to provide a service to their owner/user. This includes:

  • Guide dogs who assist visitors with visual impairments.
  • Emotional support dogs.
  • Hearing dogs or signal dogs who help visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Service dogs who are not specifically trained for visual or hearing impairment, but are trained to do other work, such as provide mobility and emotional assistance to certain visitors.

You must have your dog's certificate or evidence that your dog is registered and show this at the point of entry.

Our sister site, the Ulster Folk Museum in Cultra (ulsterfolkmuseum.org), is a completely different museum and its dog policy should not be confused with ours for the Ulster American Folk Park.
