Wrap up warm and join us as we journey back to Christmas past! This immersive sensory learning workshop will introduce pupils to the traditions, food and experiences of the festive season in a range of our Irish exhibition buildings. Experience the excitement of the arrival of the Christmas letter all the way from America and help Mrs Mellon unpack all the essential groceries that have been delivered just in time for her to prepare a delicious Christmas treat. Visit the Campbell house to learn about the tradition of the Christmas Eve supper and see the beautiful Christmas tree before creating your very own decoration to take home. Throughout the session, children will be encouraged to compare and contrast the Christmas experience in each of the homes they visit, as well as with their own festive family traditions.
