Get mucky in our native bog with The Conservation Volunteers on Saturday 14th September at the Ulster American Folk Park, as part of European Heritage Open Days.

At the Folk Park, we are fortunate to be host to one of these precious habitats. Our native bog absorbs and stores high levels of carbon, while supporting a wealth of native flora and fauna.

Discover just how important our bogs are to our way of life and be prepared to roll up your sleeves to help save our bog from the invasive species threatening its special ecosystem.
